Why did you become a homewares designer?

I did a business degree and really missed the creative element. I went back into art and design without knowing what I wanted to do but quickly became really interested in print, pattern and repeats and it just went from there. Homewares designs are so versatile and they are always evolving so its exciting coming up with new ideas.

What do they like about creating wallpapers?

The satisfaction of seeing something through from start to finish. Painting and drawing elements and then seeing the finished product coming off in rolls at the factory knowing that someone is going to enjoy it in their home. I really enjoy trying to fit the elements together into a repeat like a jigsaw.

What is your preferred style?

Tropical designs are the most fun and colourful. It’s a trend that just isn’t going away and it keeps evolving and changing.
